Moldovan district, Polish county sign cooperation agreement

Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Leova district council and the Krasnystaw county have concluded a cooperation agreement. The document was signed at a recent visit to Leova of a delegation led by the head of the Polish settlement, Ianusz Szpak.
The guests from Krasnystaw voiced willingness to set cooperation ties with the Leova administration, taking into account the experience of Poland on the period of pre-joining the European Union, as well as to jointly carry out projects on the basis of EU financing.
Under the accord, the sides will implement projects on local development and will take efforts to extend the relations in the social, cultural, education, sports, tourism, scientific, farming, professional training sectors, etc.
The Leova district head, Efrosinia Gretu, gave assurances that the district leadership would take every effort for a productive collaboration. "We are sure that this experience would get us closer to the European Union," Gretu added.
