Moldovan speaker meets top European bank representatives

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ – The adopted laws in recent years on strengthening the financial sector, along with the measures taken will ensure system’s remediation and stabilization, leading to economic stability and predictability, stated today Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu at a meeting with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The speaker pointed out, as priorities, the energy interconnection projects, business development and rehabilitation of the banking system. Similarly, it was examined the implementation stage of EBRD projects in public and private sectors.

At the meeting with Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu participated Heinz Kaufmann, Director of the Board of Directors for Switzerland, Ukraine, Leichtenstein, Turkmenistan, Serbia, Montenegro and Moldova, Bruno Balvanera, Regional Director for Caucasus, Moldova and Belarus, and Dimitri Gvindadze, EBRD Representation Director in Moldova.
