Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/- The person, who has served as president of Moldova, after mandate expiration, resignation or inability to exercise the powers, will benefit from office, personal assistant and permanent car during four years, according to a legislative amendment published in the Official Journal of Moldova (Monitorul Oficial).

Under the document, the amendment is meant to ensure an efficient cooperation with former head of state and will help him devote to an activity useful to society, given the experience acquired during his mandate.

The ex-presidents are currently benefiting from pension, free healthcare, free spa and sanatorium treatment, cars on demand, diplomatic immunity and security.
