Moldovan president to pay new visit to Russia in second half of next March

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today chaired a working meeting on the elaboration and approval of the Regulation on the work of the Economic Council under the Moldovan President, the presidential press service has reported.    

The participants in the meeting considered hundreds of proposals on behalf of economic agents, professional associations, experts’ organizations, employers on the Regulation, composition and work of the Economic Council. The participants approved the final version of the Regulation of the Council and its composition, due to be published in the nearest time.    

At the same time, the participants in the meeting examined an invitation on the organization of a forum between representatives of the business environment from Moldova and Russia, received by the presidency from the Delovaya Rossiya Union of Entrepreneurs from Russia.  

The concerned organization has entrepreneurs from 77 regions of Russia, 30 committees and 86 branch divisions, that work in more sectors of the Russian economy, such as constructions, light industry, agriculture, financial services sector, information technology and many others. The most important enterprises from different sectors of Russia showed interest and willingness to participate in such a forum.

Also, the participants in the meeting agreed that the visit to Russia will take place in the second half of next March. The Moldovan delegation, besides the representatives of the Economic Council, will be made up of other entrepreneurs from Moldova, interested in discussing and considering the investment potential, possibilities of partnership in the interest of both sides, signing long-term cooperation agreements.
