Local polls to be held in seven Moldovan settlements

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ – There will be held local polls of new mayors in seven settlements of Moldova on 14 May 2017, announced today the Central Election Commission (CEC).

According to the Central Election Commission’s (CEC) press service, in locality Mereni, Anenii Noi district, there will be organized new local elections of mayor because of early termination of office, in connection with his resignation.

Also, new local mayor elections will be held on the same date in communes Pervomaisc (Causeni district), Tipala (Ialoveni district), village Ulmu (Ialoveni district), Tvarditsa town (Taraclia district), village Racovat (Soroca district) and locality Hirova in Calarasi district.
