Over 68,000 Moldovan legal entities submit income declarations in term set by legislation

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ – At least 68,190 people engaged in entrepreneurial activity honored the commitment to fair taxpayer and income declarations filed before the deadline which expired on 27 March, the State Tax Service’s (SFS) public relations service has informed.
According to preliminary fiscal data, 34,838 legal entities submitted income tax declarations in digital form, and 33,352 in writing. The Tax Service has stated that after the receipt of income tax declarations for 2016, the major of those ones are from individual businesses and farms, submitting the unified tax report.
Interviewed by MOLDPRES, the representatives of State Tax Service informed that that was preliminary data and processing of declarations would last several days, after which would be announced the final results.
The legal entities presented 68,708 statements on income in 2016 for 2015, of which 29,056 in electronic format and 39,652 on paper.
The State Tax Service reminds that the deadline for submission of declarations for individuals is extended until 30 April. Actually, 78,685 citizens submitted the income tax declaration in "Individual" section.
