Moldovan Customs Service to ensure easy traffic flow during Easter holidays

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/ – The Customs and Border Police will ensure smooth cross-border traffic during the Easter holidays.

According to the Customs Service’s information and media communication service, on 12 – 27 April, customs and border will work at full capacity and quickly to ensure effective control, so as to avoid agglomerations, generated by significant increase of passengers’ flow, typical of this period.

The actions imply the staff number increase, use of all control tracks and coordinate these issues with the authorities of neighboring countries.

Similarly, the Customs and Border Police recommend that participants in cross-border traffic to transit all the existing border customs posts, to avoid overloading of just some of them. The information on customs border posts can be found by accessing the interactive map of crossings.

Also, people can plan the best route by accessing the website of the Customs Service, TRAFFIC ON LINE section, where they can view in real time the number of transport units that are in the crossing points.
