1. Today in Moldova

President Igor Dodon has a bilateral meeting with Prince Albert II of Monaco Principality, at the State Residence at 9:00.

Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim pays an official visit to Moldova on 5-6 May.  

14.35 – official ceremony of meeting Turkish PM Binali Yildirim by Prime Minister Pavel Filip at the State Residence;  

Note: Journalists are asked to come during 14:00-14:25 for checking;   

14:45 – the two prime ministers have a bilateral meeting.

Note: The government’s communication and protocol department takes protocol pictures and makes them available to media institutions.

15:15 – joint protocol photo of the two prime ministers, followed by an enlarged meeting of the Moldovan and Turkish delegations.  

Note: Journalists are able to take protocol pictures at the meeting.  

16:00 – ceremony of signing of bilateral documents. Subsequently, Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim give a news conference.

16:35 – ceremony of inauguration of the compound of the Embassy of Turkey in Moldova. The two states’ PMs attend the event.

17:30 – the prime minister of Turkey has a meeting with President Igor Dodon.  

18:40 – the Turkish prime minister has a meeting with Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu.

Prince Albert II of Monaco pays a 4-5 May official visit to Moldova, at an invitation by Prime Minister Pavel Filip.  

10:00 – Prince Albert II visits Moldova State University.

11:10 – Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Prince of Monaco meet the children’s team of the Zimbru football club, at the Zimbru stadium.

Chisinau general mayor Dorin Chirtoaca has a meeting with His Royal Highness, Prince Radu of Romania, at the city hall at 16:00.

The Jolly Alon hotel hosts the National Forum of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs from both banks of Dniester at 10:30.

The Independent Press Association organizes a roundtable, Critical state of written press in Moldova, at Jolly Alon hotel at 14:00.

The Chisinau city hall jointly with the Registrar’s Office organizes the celebration of golden weddings for 16 pairs from Moldova’s capital. For the first time ever in Chisinau, a pair marks the 70th jubilee of the marriage’s registration, or the platinum wedding, at the Registrar’s Office at 9:00.
