Moldovan foreign minister to participate in meeting of CoE's Committee of Ministers in Nicosia

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, will visit Nicosia, Cyprus on 18-19 May, to attend the 127th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CMCE), the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

During the ministerial meeting, head of Moldovan diplomacy is to present a speech on strengthening security and democracy in Europe.

Also, the Nicosia visit program provides for bilateral meetings, including with the Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland.

At the meeting end, Minister Andrei Galbur will take part in the retrieve ceremony of the Presidency of the Committee of Ministers by Czech from Cyprus, holding it for the recent six months.
