Moldovan, Croatian officials approach economic cooperation

Chisinau, 18 May /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Daniela Morari today met Davor Vidiš, Ambassador of Croatia to Moldova, based in Bucharest, on a working visit to Chisinau, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
The officials expressed mutual interest in advancing the political dialogue and boosting the economic cooperation between both states. Morari reiterated the need to resume the work of the Moldovan-Croatian intergovernmental commission for European integration, which is to assist Moldova in implementing the Association Agreement on the basis of Croatian expertise and experience.
For his part, the ambassador assured full support of the Croatian state for implementing the necessary reforms in Moldova’s European integration process.
The officials also discussed the priorities on regional cooperation in the context of Croatia’s holding of the presidency of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP).
