Moldovan PM signs in condolences book at British Embassy in Chisinau

Chisinau, 24 May  /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip laid flowers and signed in a book of condolences today, opened by the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Chisinau in memory of the victims of the explosion on Monday night near the stadium in Manchester.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the Prime Minister expressed condolences to the families who suffered as a result of the terrorist attack and the whole British people. "I firmly condemn such inhuman and cruel acts directed against innocent people and reiterate that my country remains a determined and committed partner in the fight against terrorism. All our thoughts are directed towards the families of those who lost their lives and those who were injured resulting the Manchester explosion," says the message signed by Pavel Filip.

According to official data, at least 22 people, including juveniles, died as a result of the Manchester City terrorist attack, and more than 59 people were injured. By now, the Moldovan citizens have not been identified among the victims.
