According to the project, both commercialization and use of disposable plastic bags will be prohibited. For violating the law, the economic agents and the citizens will be fined.

The new law will come into effect gradually, initially for large commercial units, then for small ones.

The authors of the project suggest to replace plastic bags with paper, cloth or starch ones.

According to official data, each citizen annually uses at least 140 plastic bags that decompose in over 100 years.
