Moldova, Israel marks 25 years of diplomatic relations

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrei Galbur, conveyed a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of Israel, Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the State of Israel on 22 June, 2017, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The head of the Moldovan diplomacy appreciated the Moldovan-Israeli cooperation during this period, both on bilateral cooperation dimension and within the various international bodies.

Also, Minister Andrei Galbur mentioned the importance of furthering the Moldovan-Israeli political dialogue, intensifying bilateral trade and investment, and strengthening the inter-human and cultural relations.

The Republic of Moldova established diplomatic relations with the State of Israel on 22 June 1992.
