Moldovan premier to participate in inauguration of Moldovan-Ukrainian joint border checkpoint Kuchurgan-Pervomaysk

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, along with Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko, will participate in the inauguration of the Moldovan-Ukrainian joint border checkpoint Kuchurgan-Pervomaysk, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.     

The action fits into the agreements reached between Moldova and Ukraine and, in particular, of the inter-governmental agreement on the organization of joint control and of an inter-departmental protocol signed by the two states.  

The project is implemented with the support of the European Union, within the neighbourhood policy, on the modernization of the borders’ integrated management and has at its basis the European standards and best practices.
