The Chisinau municipal council holds a meeting at 10:00.

The Viitorul Institute for Development and Social Initiatives invites to public discussions on a draft law for the amendment and completion of Moldova’s Labour Code No 154-XV from 28 March 2013, at Viitorul at 11:00.

A group of extra-parliamentary parties invites to a news conference on their joint position on the change of the electoral system, proposals, conclusions following discussions in parliament, at IPN at 10:00.

The community centre from Molovata, restored within the Promotion of Confidence Building Measures programme, financed by EU and implemented by the UN Development Programme Moldova, hosts a concert by the National Youth Orchestra, organized jointly with musicians from the left bank of Dniester. The event is part of a tour, La, La Play, at Molovata community centre at 18:00.

2. OASPEȚI ȘI DELEGAȚII ÎN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA

A mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by Ben Kelmanson, pays a working visit to Chisinau on 17-21 July. The visit’s purpose is to get info on the macroeconomic situation and discuss fiscal policy, monetary policy and other relevant policies in anticipation of the second programme evaluation, scheduled for autumn 2017.
