Moldovan cabinet increases quantum of average salary on economy for 2017

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved a new size of the average monthly salary on the economy for 2017. The quantum was established at 5,600 lei, up by 300 lei against the one approved in late 2016, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The amendments were made in line with the updated forecast of the macroeconomic indexes for 2018-2020, worked out in last February.
The forecast quantum of the average salary on the economy will be applied when determining the basis of calculation of allowances and social insurances and the annual re-consideration of monthly salaries of teachers.
