Best Moldovan inventor pupil of 2017 wins silver medal at international contest

Chisinau, 15 August /MOLDPRES/ – A young Moldovan inventor won the silver medal at the International Youth Olympics, which took place in South Korea on 11-13 August. The winner of Best Innovator-2017 Contest Prize, Valentin Vozian, who impressed the South Korean jury with Drones Centralized System.

According to the State Agency for Intellectual Property’s (AGEPI) press agency, the invention was made jointly with another Moldovan young man, Dan Butmalai. The system is a drone network that will be monitored and controlled from a single centre and integrated with an artificial intelligence algorithm that allows the detection of target objects.

The young inventor could take part in the event thanks to the financial assistance provided by AGEPI.

Nearly 500 participants from over 20 countries were present at the International Youth Olympics. The event, at its second issue, was organized by the Women's Inventory and Entrepreneurship Association of South Korea. The Olympics gives young people the opportunity to share their ideas, inventions, innovations, and is also an excellent platform to expose technological advances in different areas.
