Moldovan state tax service awards twenty five payers honouring fiscal obligations

Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/ – The State Tax Service (SFS) awarded 25 economic agents, which were noted for their contribution to promoting fiscal civicism and complying with the tax obligations for 2017. The State Tax Service Director, Serghei Puscuta, handed in the certificates to the taxpayers, through which they were attributed the title of "high – credibility taxpayers".

The credibility certificate is attributed to the economic agent that in the recent year of administration has not admitted violations and has no arrears to the National Public Budget. Also, within the previous three consecutive years, it has earned taxable income each year; the sum of the obligations calculated over the periods under examination constitutes at least 10 per cent of the total amount of declared earnings and the average employee salary exceeds the average monthly salary for the economy.

Another requirement is that the trader does not allow for cases of non-submission or late disclosure of tax reports, compilation of mandatory health insurance premiums and declarations on the calculation and use of compulsory social security contributions.

The SFS also notes that certificate holders are exempt from fiscal controls by the total and thematic tax audits initiated by tax authorities within the next two years after handing over, provided they do not change their tax behaviour.
