Moldovan deputy foreign minister receives ambassador of Romania

Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, Daniela Morari, had a meeting with the Romanian Ambassador to Moldova Daniel Ionita, today, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and interaction with press service has reported.
The officials discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation on the European integration dimension in the spirit of the bilateral Strategic Partnership, where Deputy Minister, Daniela Morari, informed on priorities of Moldova-EU cooperation, including the perspective of the Eastern Partnership Summit in November 2017.
Ambassador Daniel Ionita reiterated Romania's determination to continue to offer support to Moldova both for fulfillment of the commitments deriving from the Moldova-EU Association Agreement and for supporting Moldovan efforts in the dialogue with the EU institutions and Member States. In the context, the interlocutors exchanged views on ways of deepening cooperation in the priority domains established both at the level of the Intergovernmental Commission of Moldova – Romania for European Integration and in the recent interactions between co-Presidents of that Commission, Deputy Minister, Daniela Morari, and Deputy Minister for European Affairs of Romania, Victor Negrescu.
