Moldovan PM attends opening of World Championship "Bodyguard 2017"

Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip conveyed a greeting message to the bodyguards teams from 18 countries participating in the Bodyguard 2017 World Championship, organized for the first time in Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The premier said that it is an honor for Moldova to host the eighth issue of the World Championship “Bodyguard 2017”. In the context, Filip wished success to the participants in the competition and to the spectators – to have beautiful and exciting moments.

“The World Bodyguard Championship is an example of testing and assessing the professional skills you have accumulated over the years via effort and perseverance. Courage, manhood and devotion to the profession are the qualities that characterize you”, he said.

At the same time, the premier thanked the security officers for the efforts and sacrifices in daily work, noting that this profession requires very good physical and intellectual training. “You have a profession less visible to the public, and at the same time, extremely necessary for society. Through your work, you provide stability and security in society. You are appreciated when missions are successfully fulfilled”, he said.

Attending the event are teams from Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Belarus, China, Croatia, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Serbia, Slovakia, Qatar, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Hungary.
