Moldovan, Russian officials discuss aspects of Chisinau-Tiraspol dialogue at government

Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan today had a meeting with Special Representative of Russia for Transnistrian Settlement Sergey Gubarev, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.    

The officials exchanged opinions on the latest developments recorded in the Transnistrian file, aspects of the Chisinau-Tiraspol dialogue, as well as on prospects for advancement in the process of negotiations.  
 
Gheorghe Balan stressed the Moldovan authorities’ openness for boosting the dialogue within all present platforms of talks.  
 
For his part, Sergey Gubarev appreciated the concerned position and voiced hope for the achievement of this goal.
 
In the end of the meeting, the sides expressed need to focus efforts on identifying viable solutions on the current problems, friendly to the interests of the residents from the two banks of Dniester.
