Chisinau, 14 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip has addressed a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Chisinau Dedication Day, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The message reads:

“Dear Chisinau residents, dear friends,

For all of us, Chisinau means the nucleus of Moldova’s history. I keep in my mind more nice memories from the student years and then from the period of my professional development, during which this city was partner, support and home to me. I felt that I can rely on the Chisinau community and that I can offer it the best I have.

We are together happy to live in this city, which we love, each of us, for the memories it generates and for what it gives us at present. We continue loving it, despite the current problems which we face daily.

Either there is unexpected snowfall or there are traffic jams, we everybody know that we are a community and that the answer lies in solidarity, in involvement and in the care for the others.

Also, I have recent memories which impressed me. Some crisis moments, which required also my involvement as prime minister, showed me how united the Chisinau residents can be facing dangers. I felt proud to be a member of this community. Also together, we will overcome the crisis emerged in the city’s administration, we will clean up and will do our lives better in our capital.

Dear fellow countrymen,

For all whose who live in Chisinau, for all those who love the Capital of Moldova, it is your holiday today. I wish you to never forget to love Chisinau! Long live, Chisinau!”
