DOC // List of beneficiaries of cultural projects funded by national cultural fund to be expanded
The Official Journal today published the new Regulations on financing projects and programs for artistic and cultural residency and mobility from the national cultural fund. The document extends the list of eligible beneficiaries for funding.
Thus, in addition to non-commercial organizations, independent artists, creative people and public and private cultural organizations will be able to participate in competitions.
At the same time, the institutional capacities of local public authorities regarding the organization of competitions, project management, and monitoring of their implementation will be improved. Thus, local authorities will become active players in carrying out cultural projects.
Additionally, efficient and transparent administration of the national cultural fund's resources will be ensured, which in 2025 has a total budget of 30 million lei.
The new regulations will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
