Moldova is an example of a state that, despite challenges, has made significant progress on the European path, developing a more sustainable, modern and innovative economy. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Eugen Osmochescu has made statements to this effect. He participated today, in Brussels, along with Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, at the first EU Enlargement Forum, an event organized for the first time by Commissioner Marta Kos.
“It was an honor to represent Moldova at an event of such importance, a space where we reaffirmed our commitment to European values and our firm integration process,” said Eugen Osmochescu.
The deputy prime minister noted that the enlargement of the European Union meant greater investment opportunities for us, access to the European market and the continuation of essential reforms for building a competitive economy.
“Together with our European partners, Moldova is increasingly close to becoming a full-fledged member of the European Union, a decisive step towards a prosperous and stable future for our citizens,” concluded the official.
