Moldovan parliament speaker says leadership aims to repair three thousand km of roads by 2029
We have the ambitious goal of repairing 3,000 km of roads by 2029, so that all national and regional roads are in good condition. Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, who has paid a visit to Soldanesti, mad statements to this effect.
The official stressed that, so far, roads had been renovated or built over a distance of approximately 800 km, and investments would continue in the coming years.
“There are still many roads to be repaired, we know that. So far, we have renovated or built almost 800 km of roads. We have the ambitious goal of repairing 3,000 km of roads by 2029, so that all national and regional roads are in good condition. With the help of EU funds, we will achieve this goal as well,” said Igor Grosu.
The speaker gave the example of the road to Vadul-Rascov in Soldanesti, for the modernization of which 30 million lei was allocated.
“In the summer, we announced the allocation of 30 million lei, European funds, for the repair of the road to Vadul-Rascov in Soldanesti, and today people already have a modern road,” Igor Grosu emphasized.
The parliament speaker paid a working visit to the northern Soldanesti district, where he discussed with mayors and representatives of deconcentrated services about development projects implemented in the localities of the region.
