Support for local companies in Moldova: 565 entrepreneurs receive energy compensation through Organization for Entrepreneurship Development ODA

A number of 565 companies of Moldova in 2025 have benefited from compensations for covering electricity costs through the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA). Their total value reached 139 million lei.

The electricity cost compensation programme was launched by the government, in order to support the business environment affected by rising energy tariffs. The European Union financially supports this initiative within the efforts to bolster the economy of Moldova and the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Under the programme, entrepreneurs benefited from compensation of 50 per cent of the increase in electricity tariffs. The compensations were provided throughout the entire year.

The programme was successfully implemented thanks to the support provided by the Electronic Governance Agency, and entrepreneurs were able to submit applications 100% online, either through the EVO application or through the MCabinet platform.
