Public office management: aligning practices for more modern administration in Moldova
Forty heads of human resources subdivisions from central public administration authorities have participated in a working meeting organized by the Public Office Management Directorate of the State Chancellery. The discussions focused on the uniform application of the regulatory framework, experience exchange and the unification of work practices between divisions in charge of the personnel management and the State Chancellery.
Deputy Secretary-General of the Government Alexandru Iacub reiterated the essential role of human resource management specialists in ensuring correct and uniform process implementation. He highlighted their contribution to the efficient work of public administration, institutional modernization, carrying out of reforms and advancement of the European integration process.
The participants in the meeting considered the main aspects concerning the continuous professional development of public administration staff. They also presented the current strategic and regulatory framework, as well as the draft of the Annual Training and Professional Development Plan for the 2026 year.
At the same time, the package of amendments to the regulatory framework related to public office management and the status of public servants was unveiled and analyzed, with a focus on relevant updates for recruitment, performance evaluation, professional development and career management processes in the public service.
The event took place as part of a string of periodic meetings organized by the State Chancellery, which serves as a platform for dialogue, coordination and inter-institutional cooperation in the human resources management field.
