Prime Minister at Festival in Sipoteni: Government will work so that every village, every community and all Moldovans can prosper

The Government of the Republic of Moldova

Prime Minister Vasile Tofan attended Zemii Festival today, held in Sipoteni village, Călărași district. The event, now at its 10th edition, promotes traditions, culinary heritage and authentic values of the Moldovan village, bringing together residents, producers, folk craftsmen and visitors from all over the country.

The Prime Minister praised the spirit of the inhabitants of Sipoteni, emphasizing that people who care about their locality and get involved in community life contribute every day to its well-being. In this context, the Prime Minister reiterated the Government's commitment to support the development of localities throughout the country: “The Government will work for everyone – so that every village, every community and all Moldovans can prosper.”

At the festival, the official visited the fair, where producers and economic agents displayed local products, honey, handicrafts and creations of folk craftsmen. The event program also included performances by local artists, folk dances and shows by ensembles from Vălcineț, Meleșeni and Peticeni.
