Moldovan president conveys 2026 New Year message
President Maia Sandu addressed all citizens at the end of 2025. In her message, the president spoke about peace, loved ones and hope for the coming year.
"We bid farewell to 2025 with gratitude for living in peace, for loved ones we can embrace, and with hope for the coming year," said the head of state.
President Maia Sandu emphasized that, the year 2025 had proved the strength of society and highlighted the courage, dignity and confidence shown by the citizens and state institutions. "The year 2025, despite the challenges, has shown us all the strength of Moldova, thanks to each and every one of you. Thank you!" noted the head of state.
In conclusion, President Maia Sandu urged solidarity and responsibility towards others and the country: "Let's take care of each other and our country. These are the most precious things. Happy New Year, Moldova!" conveyed the head of state.
