Moldovan President meets Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs
President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a meeting in Chișinău with Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Oana Țoiu, who was on a working visit to the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of Moldova's annual ambassadors' meeting.
During the discussions, Maia Sandu reiterated that Romania remains Moldova's number one strategic partner and the main supporter of its European path, energy security, economic development, and connectivity with the European Union.
The two officials discussed the next steps in our country's EU accession process. Oana Țoiu reiterated Romania's commitment to continue being a firm and constant voice of support for the Republic of Moldova within the European Union.
