Moldovan PM meets Metropolitans of Moldova, Bessarabia
Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu today had meetings with Most Right Reverend Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova, and Most Right Reverend Petru, Archbishop of Chisinau, Metropolitan of Bessarabia and Exarch of the Territories.
The discussions focused on the importance and role of the Church in building a cohesive society, where people are united by empathy and mutual care. "The role of the Church is important for spreading kindness, educating children and adults in the spirit of forgiveness and compassion," said the prime minister.
PM Alexandru Munteanu emphasized that, by being united, Moldovans can make their communities more prosperous: “Together with priests, together with local public administration, we can stand by the vulnerable, provide support to those who are alone or distressed, collaborate against the phenomenon of domestic violence and bring hope back to communities.”
