Moldovan president says Europe's stability depends on fully guaranteeing Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, security
Europe's stability depends on fully guaranteeing Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and security. This message was conveyed by the head of state, Maia Sandu, in the context of discussions about the peace plan in Ukraine, reports MOLDPRES.
Maia Sandu emphasized that "the unity and determination of all Ukraine’s partners are essential to ensure a lasting peace."
"Europe’s stability depends on Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and security being fully guaranteed. Unity and determination from all of Ukraine’s partners are essential to ensure a peace that will endure," Maia Sandu wrote on platform X.
This week, the USA proposed a peace plan, consisting of 28 points, which includes major concessions, including territorial ones, that Ukraine should make to achieve peace with Russia. Last night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, noting that Ukraine was now facing very difficult choices: either the loss of dignity or the risk of losing a key partner. He promised not to betray his people and to collaborate constructively with the USA on the peace plan, without betraying national interests.
