MPs to attend 74th plenary meeting of Conference of Community and European Affairs Committees of EU Parliaments
A parliamentary delegation will participate in the 74th plenary meeting of the Conference of Community and European Affairs Committees of Parliaments of the EU (COSAC). The meeting will take place on 30 November - 2 December in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Moldovan Parliament will be represented by Marcel Spatari, President of the Commission for European Integration, Ana Calinici, Vice President of the Commission for European Integration, and Adrian Băluțel, Vice President of the Foreign Policy Commission.
The meeting agenda includes speeches and debates on the enlargement of the European Union, internal reforms and the rule of law, EU trade policy, ecological transition in the European agri-food sector, etc.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the MPs will have bilateral meetings with the presidents and members of the EU affairs committees of the parliaments of Denmark, Finland, Sweden, France and the Baltic States.
COSAC is a forum established in 1989 for cooperation, information exchange and best practices among the national parliaments of EU member states and the European Parliament. The objective of COSAC is to facilitate discussions between deputies from national parliaments and MEPs regarding the practical aspects of parliamentary oversight of European affairs.
