Parliamentary delegation attends session of Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation
The parliamentary delegation is participating in the 66th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC). The event is taking place on 23-25 November in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The delegation includes MP Petru Burduja, who is also the head of the delegation, as well as MPs Larisa Novac and Veronica Briceag.
The plenary session's agenda includes discussions on the application of artificial intelligence technologies in the economic, legal, and social development of the Black Sea region and cooperation with the European Union and other regional organizations. Participants will also discuss the activities of PABSEC and its associated institutions and elect the Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation was established in 1993 in Istanbul by representatives of the parliaments of nine countries. Currently, PABSEC includes delegations from the parliaments of 12 member states of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
