Use of artificial intelligence for sustainable development on agenda of discussions at session of Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation
The use of artificial intelligence for sustainable development in the region has been one of the topics discussed at the 66th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC). The event takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on November 23-25 this year.
The legislative delegation attending the event included MP Petru Burduja, its head, as well as lawmakers Larisa Novac and Veronica Briceag. The deputies discussed with colleagues from 11 countries the parliamentary collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence’s regulation.
The participants in the plenary session also discussed cooperation with the European Union and other regional organizations, as well as the activities of PABSEC and related institutions.
The next plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation will be held in Georgia.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation was established by representatives from the parliaments of nine countries in Istanbul in 1993. Presently, PABSEC includes delegations from the parliaments of 12 member states of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
