Another four prosecutors enter evaluation procedure in Moldova; acting Prosecutor General on list
The Prosecutors' Evaluation Commission has published the schedule for hearings set for December 2025, announcing that four more prosecutors, including Acting Prosecutor General Alexandru Machidon, will undergo the vetting procedure.
According to the cited source, the first hearings will take place on December 10, 2025, before Panel A. Vasile Plevan, a prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (PA), is expected at 10:00, and Acting Prosecutor General Alexandru Machidon will appear before the commission at 14:00.
Two other prosecutors will be heard on December 15, 2025, by Panels F and B.
All sessions will be held at the National Institute of Justice, being public and audio-video recorded.
The commission reiterates that the subjects involved have the right to review evaluation files before the hearing, present additional information and provide explanations on any suspicions raised by the evaluators. They may be assisted throughout the procedure by a lawyer or an apprentice lawyer.
