Anti-Corruption Prosecutor Vadim Prisacari fails external evaluation

Prosecutor Vadim Prisacari of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office failed the external evaluation after the Prosecutors’ Evaluation Commission found that he did not meet the financial integrity criterion. The evaluation report was submitted to the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP), which is expected to adopt a decision in this case.

According to the Prosecutors’ Evaluation Commission, the checks found that Vadim Prisacari did not meet the financial integrity criterion set out in Article 11 of Law No. 252/2023. Consequently, the Commission proposed that the prosecutor fail the evaluation.

The report was reviewed by the Commission after the members of Panel B failed to reach a unanimous vote. The document was approved by a majority of the Commission’s members, with two of them submitting separate opinions.

In accordance with the law, the report was submitted to the SCP, which is expected to examine it and adopt a decision on the evaluation outcome.

The full report will be published on the Commission’s official website, subject to the necessary measures to protect the privacy of the evaluated persons and third parties. It will be published no later than three days after the deadline for challenging the SCP’s decision expires or, if the decision is challenged, no later than three days after the Supreme Court of Justice delivers its ruling.
