Moldovan Border Police warn: Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe, Tudora-Starokazacie crossing points temporarily closed after drone strike on Dniester River bridge
The traffic today was halted on the bridge located outside the Maiaki-Udobnoe area, on the Odesa–Reni route, at about 16:00, following an aerial attack on Ukrainian territory. Drones carrying explosive cargo struck the bridge, which facilitates crossing the Dniester River.
According to the Police, relevant authorities have isolated the area, in order to assess damage and prevent any further risks.
The Border Police announced that the Palanca–Maiaki-Udobnoe and Tudora–Starokazacie crossing points were temporarily closed. Citizens are advised to avoid traveling in the affected area and to exercise increased caution.
At the same time, it is recommended to refrain from traveling to the Odesa region, Ukraine, until safety conditions are restored.
