Educational offer of Moldova's universities for young people from other countries available on single platform
Young people from other countries who are interested in pursuing higher education in Moldova can find all necessary information on a single platform – www.studyin.md, developed in order to promote the opportunities and educational offer of more higher education institutions of the country.
The www.studyin.md page contains information about bachelor’s and master’s programmes in English, currently offered by five public universities of Moldova. The educational offer is to be expanded with additional study programmes.
The platform also provides information on how to access the programmes, the living conditions provided by institutions for international students, the visa application procedure for those who need it, as well as other useful information. In addition, the platform hosts promotional materials on the geography, history and culture of the country, with more useful information to be added in the future.
The platform was created with the financial support of the World Bank, within the Higher Education in Moldova Project.
In the last two years, the Education and Research Ministry has launched a broad process of internationalizing higher education of Moldova. According to the latest official data, around 6,500 international students from 50 countries are studying in Moldova. As many as 4,830 of them are enrolled in bachelor’s and integrated programmes, while almost 1,600 are pursuing master’s programmes.
