False alarm at Tudora customs post of Moldova; border customs post resumes normal operations
Experts of the National Police completed the actions carried out today at the Tudora border crossing point, after customs officers had detected an object suspected of being an explosive mechanism in the luggage of a Ukrainian citizen.
Following checks, the police established that the identified object posed no danger to citizens, as it was a handmade electronic device.
Specialists from the Technical and Explosive Section and the dogs of the Police Cynological Directorate did not detect any explosive substances.
The Tudora border customs post has resumed its activity as normal.
