National Army intercepted six drones in national airspace
The National Army's airspace surveillance systems detected, on the morning of November 25, six drones illegally crossing the territory of the Republic of Moldova, in the context of massive attacks on Ukraine from the previous night. A drone with the letter 'Z' inscribed fell on the roof of a building in Floresti district.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the first device was observed between the localities of Vinogradovca and Vulcanesti, then moving towards the border with Romania, between Colibasi in the Cahul district and Vadul lui Isac, at an altitude of approximately 1,500 meters. The Ministry of Defense immediately informed the responsible structures, including the General Inspectorate of Police.
The other five drones were detected near the localities of Donduseni, Orhei, Bender, Vadul lui Voda, and Floresti. One of them crashed on the roof of a house in the village of Cuhurestii de Jos, Floresti district.
Authorities are asking people not to touch objects that have fallen on the ground and to immediately inform the authorities about any unauthorized drone or object. The Ministry of Defense says that state institutions are constantly monitoring the situation and intervening promptly to keep people safe.
