PHOTO, VIDEO // My Christmas at Home: exhibition launched at Government with 58 works signed by children and artists from country

The Republic of Moldova officially enters the winter season, and the holiday atmosphere was symbolically opened by the launch of the illustration exhibition "My Christmas at Home," hosted by the Bureau for European Integration within the Government.

According to Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov, this period brings the spirit of unity and the return home, wherever Moldovans are in the world.

"My Christmas at Home marks the official beginning of winter holidays at the Government and becomes a visual message of Moldova that grows, connects, and builds its European future, while remaining faithful to traditions and family," said Cristina Gherasimov.

The exhibition brings together 58 works submitted to the national contest of the same name, created by both children and talented artists from all regions of the republic.

Gherasimov congratulated the authors of the works and remarked on the stylistic and thematic diversity of the illustrations, which reflect the tradition, emotion of reunion, and cultural identity of the holidays spent "at home."

The grand prize of the contest was won by Olga Rogozenco from Cahul, the author of the winning illustration. Her work will be printed in a run of 500 copies and sent to the Republic of Moldova's external partners as a symbol of Moldovan Christmas and the country's European path.

The exhibition can be visited throughout December, offering the public the opportunity to discover how young people see Moldova at home and in the future.
