Special vehicles on Mateevici Street: US Embassy and Ministry of Internal Affairs organize emergency simulation exercise in Chisinau
The United States Embassy, in partnership with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova is conducting an emergency simulation exercise today. This activity is part of the ongoing cooperation between the US Embassy and law enforcement institutions in the Republic of Moldova.
The purpose of the simulation is to test response capacity, the coordination of intervention structures, and to identify aspects that can be improved in the event of a real crisis situation. Several subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are participating in the exercise.
The simulation is taking place within the premises of the US Embassy in Chisinau and involves the movement of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations' special vehicles on Mateevici Street.
Authorities note that the activity is planned and poses no risk to the population.
