US continues to contribute to development of health system in Moldova
Cooperation in promoting health and prosperity was discussed during a meeting between Charge d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Chisinau Nick Pietrowicz and new Minister of Health of the Republic of Moldova Emil Ceban.
According to a press release of the US Embassy in Chisinau, the discussion focused on the recent contribution of the United States, worth 2.5 million dollars, aimed at strengthening Moldova's capacity to prevent, detect, and respond rapidly to threats posed by infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance.
Thus, the total value of the US contribution to the development of the emergency response system in the public health field in the Republic of Moldova amounts to 3.5 million US dollars.
