The United States Embassy in Chisinau wishes happy holidays to citizens of the Republic of Moldova. The message was delivered via a video clip posted on social media.
Nick Pietrowicz, the Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy, extended greetings to Moldovans alongside his two children, emphasizing that the Christmas holiday reminds us of the values that truly matter: family, faith, and freedom.
'Happy holidays from the US Embassy in Chisinau. The Christmas season reminds us of what truly matters: faith, family, and freedom. Our Embassy promotes these shared values to make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous, encouraging the same principles here in the Republic of Moldova,' said the American diplomat.
Nick Pietrowicz noted that the holiday season is also a time for reflection on significant milestones for both countries.
'As we celebrate Christmas and the New Year, we also look towards two other important milestones: 35 years of independence for the Republic of Moldova and the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, in 2026,' he stated.
The message concluded with a greeting spoken in Romanian by the diplomat and his children: 'Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Moldova!'
