Moldovan deputy premier meets Head of EU Delegation in Moldova

Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan today had a meeting with Head of the European Union Delegation in Moldova, Ambassador Pirkka Tapiola, the reintegration policies bureau has reported.

The two officials exchanged opinions on developments in the negotiating process, referring to the most important subjects on the agenda of the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol, as well as to prospects for their settlement.

The sides agreed on the need to maintain a constructive dialogue, focused on aspects of common interest and multidimensional support of the Transnistrian settlement process, with emphasis put on implementing projects for multilateral development, carried out in Moldova with the European Union’s backing.
