List of compensated drugs to be published in Official Journal of Moldova

Chisinau, 13 April /MOLDPRES/- The list of compensated drugs from mandatory health insurance funds will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 14 April.

Compensated medicines will be used by children up to 18 years, pregnant women, people with acute and chronic diseases, such as: diabetes, anemia, asthma, cardiovascular disease, ophthalmic, respiratory, mental and neurological, endocrine, digestive system, urinary system, rare diseases like epidermolysis bullosa, multiple sclerosis, mucoviscidosis, myasthenia gravis, system and autoimmune diseases.

For adults the drugs are compensated partially – 70 per cent for acute treatment in outpatient conditions, procedure rooms, at home, and 50 per cent, 70 per cent and 100 per cent – in case of chronic diseases.

Children aged up to 18 years completely benefit from compensated drugs.

The compensated medicines given in the medical prescription will be issued by the drugstore contracted by the National Health Insurance Company.
