Moldovan cabinet establishes state registers in legal expertise sector

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved the establishment of state registers of legal experts and state registers of private and associate offices of legal expertise. Also, the government approved the regulations setting the subjects of the legal relations in the registers’ management sector, structure and way of holding, filling in, updating and re-establishing registers, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.    

The draft is aimed at improving the mechanism of cooperation of the law bodies with legal experts, as well as facilitating citizens’ access to services of extra-judicial expertise.

Presently, registers are held in manual form, in the state language and represent the primary information source, taken over as a priority in other databases. The registers cumulate all documented information on legal experts carrying out their activity at a public institution of legal expertise or legal expertise office, as well as all documented information on private and associate offices of legal expertise.  

The regulations will apply till the needed conditions are created for the record in format electronic in the state register of law units.
