Moldovan foreign minister has farewell meeting with ambassador of Germany

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today received Ambassador of Germany to Moldova Ulrike Knotz, on the occasion of the end of her diplomatic mission in Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.   

The Moldovan diplomacy head thanked Ambassador Ulrike Knotz for substantial contribution brought to developing and strengthening the Moldovan-German friendship and cooperation relations during her mandate.  

Also, the Moldovan official appreciated the government of Germany for the development assistance provided to Moldova. Galbur reiterated the importance of this support in the process of democratic, economic and social transformations in Moldova.

For her part, the German ambassador expressed confidence that the cooperation ties between Moldova and Germany would continue deepening, with the German government firmly backing the implementation of the reforms agenda in Moldova.
