Euro appreciates, U.S. dollar cheapens against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 9 January /MOLDPRES/ - The single European currency will appreciate by 0.05 lei and the U.S. dollar will cheapen by 0.02 lei on 10 January, according to the official exchange rates posted by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).
Thus, euro will cost 19.68 lei and the dollar will be quoted at 17.18 lei.
The Romanian leu will keep its value of 4.20 lei. The Ukrainian hryvnia and the Russian rouble will have the same tendency. The latter currency will have an official price of 0.25 lei and the hryvnia will cost 0.61 lei, just as today.
The official exchange rate represents the price of the Moldovan leu against the currencies of other countries.
